Role Description
This is a part‑time on‑site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) based in Montgomery, AL. The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist with medical assessments, administer medications, and maintain patient health records. Responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, providing patient education, supporting medical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and responding to medical emergencies as needed. Essential duties also involve interacting and communicating effectively with youth, families, and other team members to provide high‑quality care.
Qualifications
Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama
Proficiency in patient care, medication administration, and health monitoring
Strong record‑keeping skills, with the ability to manage and maintain detailed medical documentation
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Experience in trauma‑responsive and patient‑focused care is preferred
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
Ability to adhere to healthcare standards and respond to medical emergencies promptly
High level of professionalism, dependability, and compassion in working with diverse populations
