TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities
Use diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring images are accurate and passed to physicians for interpretation.
Prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing.
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
Follow physicians' orders regarding the body area to image.
Position patients correctly, adjust equipment, and calibrate as needed.
Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by using appropriate protective precautions.
Prepare results for physician review.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Use the McKesson PACS system.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
BLS certification.
ARRT (R) National Certification.
State-specific licensing requirements fulfilled.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
