Description
Join us at Chase Oncology Infusion Center at Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury CT, and contribute your skills to a team committed to delivering high quality patient care. We’re looking for someone who is organized, patient focused, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. You will coordinate patient flow in the office, prepare patients for office visits, escort patients to treatment rooms, obtain patient information for medical records, and document information in patients’ charts.
What You Will Do
Prepare patients for office visits
Escort patients to treatment rooms and obtain pertinent patient information for the medical record, documenting in patients’ chart
Process patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice
Organize and prioritize duties to optimize efficiency and promote positive patient outcomes. Scribe information on a regular basis
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
Medical Assistant certification required
Current CPR certification
Preferable 1 to 2 years’ experience in a medical office/hospital setting with medical assisting and direct patient care
