Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Cardiology Team!

Responsibilities
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Schedules appointments.
Checks patient eligibility.
Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
Processes referrals.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; collects payments according to insurance requirements.
Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be bilingual English- Spanish.
Friendly and compassionate disposition.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records.
Multi-tasking, flexibility, attention to detail, word processing, professionalism, quality focus.
