Key Responsibilities
Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials
Take and develop dental X-rays as required
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system
Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course
Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential
DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks
Current CPR (BLS) certification
Proficiency in oral and written communication in English
