Registered Nurse Opportunity
Full Time, 8 Hour Shifts
The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110‑bed psychiatric hospital located in Lexington, KY. We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults and are expanding our services to meet the needs of our community.
Responsibilities
Provides in person support for admissions and discharges in the facility.
Responsible for assistting the Unit Registered Nurses with processing new admissions including new admission paperwork and skin assessments.
Uses appropriate counseling skills by de‑escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.

Current KY Nursing Licensure
Experience with intake and admissions preferred
