The Role
You will design metal stamping dies ranging from simple one-hit tools to sophisticated progressive and transfer systems. You’ll be the bridge between a concept and a physical tool, ensuring every design is optimized for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
What You Bring
Experience: Proven track record in metal stamping die design (Progressive die experience is a must).
Tech Skills: High CAD proficiency, preferably in SolidWorks (surfacing skills are a plus).
Knowledge: Deep understanding of material flow and die construction.
Communication: Ability to lead technical discussions and customer design reviews.
Responsibilities
Engineer innovative metal stamping die solutions, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems.
Drive early-stage concept development by partnering with the estimating team to create competitive, manufacturable designs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with toolmakers and production to move projects efficiently from concept to completion.
Lead and contribute to customer-facing design reviews.
Assist in tool debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Continuously improve tooling performance, manufacturability, and internal processes.

Years of experience: 0 years (but progressive die experience is required).
Experience level: Experienced.
Education: High School.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $83,200 - $104,000 per year.
Shift: First.
Work Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
Education requirement: High School.
