Job Summary:
We are seeking a learning and development professional to drive the creation of high-quality training solutions for complex technical systems and processes. Our team is looking for someone to collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring that employees receive effective, engaging, and on-target education that supports operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Conduct needs assessments and job/task analyses through focus groups and collaboration with subject matter experts to define training requirements.
Design, develop, and deliver training materials—such as PowerPoint presentations, job aids, user guides, e-learning modules, and instructor-led courses—tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Interpret and translate complex technical documentation into easily understandable training content, while managing multiple concurrent projects with attention to scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, manage stakeholder expectations, and troubleshoot training development issues as needed.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, business, or an appropriate technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of five years of experience designing and developing systems and/or technical course materials.
Demonstrated application of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies, such as ADDIE or SAM, to create effective training materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SnagIt, and at least one e-learning development software (such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia).
