Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate
Physical Therapist (PT)
to join a school-based team in Fayetteville, NC. This onsite role supports students with a variety of physical and mobility needs, helping them access their educational environment and achieve greater independence.
We are open to
new graduates , though candidates with
pediatric or school-based experience (at least 1 year preferred)
are highly encouraged to apply. This position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to both
receive and provide training , making it ideal for someone eager to grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Evaluate students’ physical and mobility needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
Support students in improving strength, coordination, balance, and functional mobility
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as needed
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service logs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
Qualifications
Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy preferred
Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required
Open to new graduates
Pediatric or school-based experience preferred (1+ year)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Flexible and supportive in supervising assistants
Compensation & Benefits
