Primary Patient Population
General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
Facilitate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care aligned with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Apply evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassionate communication, and patient‑environment leadership to promote the safest and best patient experience across the continuum.
