Your Role

As the Care Giver/Medication Technician, you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day. Your role includes providing hands‑on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home‑like environment.
Position Highlights

Status: FULL TIME / PART TIME / PRN
Schedule: Every other weekend plus weekly shifts. We hire FT, PT and PRN Med Techs.
Location: 3260 N. Harbor City Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32935
Rate of Pay: Based on experience
What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses.
Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
Engage residents in enrichment programs and life‑skills activities to support overall well‑being.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces.
Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment.
