Responsibilities
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Document patient treatments and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA CA license
Certification (if required by state)
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (SNFexperience a plus)
Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA Preferred
