About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Spencer, Indiana, 47460. This role is for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited PTA program
Completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
In-state PTA licensure/certification (IN)
First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Job Details
Pay: $1,263.28 – $1,302.35 per week
Location: Spencer, IN
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – up to 40.00 hours per week
