
Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Williamstown, NJ.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and rotating Saturdays.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Additional Job Standards:
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Pay Range:
$17.75‑24 per hour.
