Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role that drives demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio for appropriate patients. The primary objective is to engage healthcare providers (HCPs) with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue and consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3. The TAS builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians, serving as the primary point of contact. The role is field‑based and requires 100% in‑field time with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Promote approved indications of BMS products within the territory to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
Engage and continuously maintain a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
Use available tools such as CE^3 to derive insights, dynamically inform call plans, and provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
Demonstrate scientific expertise and passion, using approved resources to present accurate information to HCPs.
Conduct in‑office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) with information consistent with label.
Organize external speaker programs, selecting approved speakers and managing logistics.
Maintain a high level of expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
Engage real‑time medical support through Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex inquiries.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Collaborate proactively with other field teams to ensure the best Cx for HCPs.
Gather and share relevant insights internally for better customer service.
Compliance
Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing BMS conduct.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers and stakeholders.
Experience in cardiovascular preferred.
Account management, selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record.
Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with a positive team mindset.

Compensation Overview
Field – United States – $124,090 – $150,370. The starting range is for a full‑time employee. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final compensation will be decided based on experience.
