is seeking a
licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role focuses on improving residents’ communication, cognition, and swallowing function in a post-acute and long-term care setting.
Position Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
Provide skilled interventions for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders
Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate diet modifications
Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing safety strategies
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
Participate in care planning and discharge coordination
Qualifications
Current
Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
(required)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
preferred
Experience in
Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care
preferred
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
