Registered Nurse - Oncology in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. Start date: 05/18/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,608 per week to $1,697 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, 12x3 schedule. Work setting: hospital acute medicine/Med Surg unit.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for adult oncology patients on an acute medicine/Med Surg unit
Assess patient status, monitor vitals, and administer prescribed medications and therapies per plan of care
Manage IV therapies and infusion-related care as appropriate for oncology patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans, symptom management, and discharge planning
Document care and progress in the electronic medical record; ensure safety and adherence to policies
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Requirements
Active RN license in Georgia
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum recent experience in oncology or acute Med Surg
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) and meet travel assignment requirements
Geographic restriction: No local candidates within 50 miles
