Job Summary
Medical Assistant / EMT at Central Florida Pain Relief Center – Downtown, Altamonte and Lake Mary. Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
These clinical staff support providers with documentation, patient care, and workflow. Ideal candidates are motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with provider documentation and charting during patient visits and manage a high volume of data entry.
Check patients in and out, schedule procedures, and provide pre‑operative instructions.
Take vital signs, update patient medical histories, and perform intake.
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean and stocked.
Assist during exams and procedures as directed by providers.
Communicate with patients about upcoming procedures, instructions, and follow‑ups.
Manage communication with pharmacies.
Coordinate patient care through phone calls, faxes and secure messaging.
Help track and follow up on medical clearances, referrals and lab results.
Support both front‑ and back‑office tasks as needed for team coverage.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of clinical documentation in EMR systems.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
