Responsibilities
Meal Preparation: Follows standardized recipes. Prepare everything on the menu for your shift and prep food for the next shift.
Meal Cooking: Cook and prepare meals. Must be able to read recipes/meal tickets to ensure proper distribution. Maintain proper portion control.
Cleaning: Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
Food Storage: Ensures food and other items are stocked and stored properly.
Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Previous cooking experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
Ability to pass a TB Test and Healthcare background check.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
