
Clinical Supervisor (RN) - Med/Surg/Tele - Full Time Night Shift

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120‑bed acute‑care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board‑certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, offering expectant mothers 24/7 on‑site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center is the largest in the region and features spacious family‑friendly private suites. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.
Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor
Reporting to the Director/Manager, the Clinical Supervisors are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on the assigned unit(s). Clinical Supervisors will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the core values and the hospital's mission statement. Clinical Supervisors will act as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s). They will demonstrate critical thinking in the management of patient care and patient flow, possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Responsibilities
Clinical Supervisors will:
ensure excellence in patient care, collaborate with staff, provide assessments, treatment and care on assigned unit(s), manage patient flow, and act as a resource and leader within the unit(s).
They will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies and demonstrate core values and mission statement behaviors.

Qualifications
Two (2) years of recent department‑specific experience required
Charge nurse or supervisory expertise in department‑specific area preferred
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
BSN preferred
Required Licensure / Certifications
Registered Nurse with current California RN license
BLS (AHA) certification
ACLS (AHA) certification
PALS (AHA) where pediatric patients are cared for
Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
