Expected pay for this position is $18.80 - $22.12/hour. This is an hourly position. The job is located in Peoria, IL, with 5–8 hour shifts covering primary day shift hours to meet unit needs.
Position Summary
The Billing/Scheduling Clerk performs multiple medical office tasks that support quality patient care. The role involves obtaining, reviewing, and reconciling appropriate patient information for billing, reimbursement, prior‑authorization, and scheduling of appointments. The clerk assists with managing the workflow to ensure appointments are scheduled timely and supports all areas of the clinic, including procedural, medical management, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities

Assist with managing the workflow to ensure timely scheduling of appointments.
Support all areas of the clinic, including procedural, medical management, and administrative functions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year of front desk or office experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare facility or office.
