Since 1969, Lakeside has been the premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in the Memphis and Mid‑South region. The 365‑bed facility is one of the largest free‑standing psychiatric hospitals in the United States. We are located on a serene 37‑acre campus in northeast Shelby County, serving as the setting for the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors. Lakeside’s comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse.
Director of Outpatient Services
The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the overall operational administration of the Outpatient Services Department. As a member of Senior management, this position ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services. The Director reports directly to the Associate Administrator while maintaining a collaborative working relationship and communication with all Senior Management members.

Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Services, Clinical/Counseling Psychology required.
Experience:
5–8 yrs prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
Licensure/Certification:
TN Social Work License (LMSW, LCSW or LPC) required.
Knowledge:
Prefer knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
