About This Position

Night Shift Pay Differential included
Weekend Requirement of Every 4th Weekend
Location: Arnett Hospital
Our Respiratory Therapists (RT) work closely with patients to evaluate and treat cardiopulmonary disorders across a variety of modalities and patient demographics. They collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total patient satisfaction and support.
Upcoming or recent respiratory therapy graduates may apply through our pipeline requisition.
Requirements
Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the state of Indiana.
Graduation from a CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) and regionally accredited respiratory care program.
Pass the N.B.R.C. (National Board for Respiratory Care) registry exam within 6 months of hire date, unless hire date is one year past graduation date.
Healthcare Provider Certification; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
Preferred ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification.
Strong customer service skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential patient information.
Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR.
Outside of working with groundbreaking technologies and therapies, RTs have the opportunity to grow their medical knowledge and skills by collaborating closely with patients and team members to design personalized therapies.
