
Senior Manager, Analytical Chemistry Scientist

Lead analytical chemistry research and development initiatives supporting functional and nutritional beverage innovation, driving analytical chemistry excellence across ingredient and product categories. Bring deep industry expertise in analytical method development, testing, and validation to enable global R&D and accelerate product and process improvements. The Senior Manager role requires deep hands‑on expertise in advanced analytical techniques and the ability to translate complex analytical data into actionable business insights through knowledge, experience, and digital data analysis tools. The role works independently, leads investigations, while contributing to the development of new analytical and digital capabilities across global R&D. The role will also organize or participate in a small task‑force team of professionals for challenging analytical chemistry projects.
What You’ll Do For Us
Plan, lead, and execute routine & non‑routine analytical testing for food, beverage, and ingredient products.
Develop and validate analytical methods; prepare samples from various matrices.
Perform qualitative, quantitative, and unknown analysis of small bio‑active molecules and large molecules (proteins, peptides).
Apply expertise in separation/characterization techniques (GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS/MS, CE, GPC, spectroscopy, rheology).
Conduct advanced testing related to juice, dairy, carbonated soft drinks, fortified nutritional drinks, etc.
Maintain laboratory instruments; ensure compliance with SOP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), LIMS, and Quality Management Systems.
Analyze complex statistical data (DOE, product/process performance).
Collaborate cross‑functionally and with external partners; produce clear technical reports and presentations.
Apply project management skills to deliver R&D initiatives efficiently and effectively.
Qualification & Requirements
Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 5–7+ years of research or industry experience; OR B.S. with 10+ years and M.S. with 8+ years of industry experience.
Advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry & food/beverage characterization.
Proficiency with advanced analytical chemistry instrumentations.
Proficiency with biochemical techniques (electrophoresis, ELISA, fluorescence, light scattering, blotting).
Ability to quickly acquire new technical capabilities.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience in innovation from concept to launch.
Capability to handle sensitive, complex issues with diplomacy.
