Job Description
Work Schedule: PRN hours will vary
Completes nutrition-focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors.
Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services.
Provides counseling and education using evidence-based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management.
Supervises practice experience for dietetic interns, dietetic technicians, registration eligible dietitians and new employees, participates in research, performance improvement, and initiatives.
Enters nutrition orders when authorized by Medical Staff policy and procedure to reflect patient care.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's (Required), Master's Certified Dietitian (CD) - Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Dietitian (LD) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range
$22.66 - $42.14
