We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Assistant to join Frisco Center for Internal Medicine, a patient‑centered internal medicine practice in Frisco, Texas. This position handles a variety of patient care activities including drawing blood, accompanying patients to exam rooms, taking vitals, collecting patient history, administering injections and immunizations, assisting with procedures, prescription refills, scheduling appointments, and patient callbacks.

Essential Functions
Rooming patients, taking vitals, and collecting patient histories
Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the providers
Updating and filing patients’ medical records
Relaying instructions to patients and families
Administering injections and vaccinations
Drawing blood
Cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control
Restocking exam/procedure rooms
Processing prescription refills
Patient call‑backs with labs, test results, etc.
Arranging hospital admissions and laboratory services
Answering inbound calls and scheduling appointments
Producing and distributing correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms
Skills and Qualifications
Bilingual preferred
High school diploma or equivalency required
Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program required
Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
Phlebotomy experience highly desired
Proficiency in MS Office
EMR experience required; E-Clinical Works preferred
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service‑oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Schedule
Full‑time Monday through Friday, 7:40 AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday 7:40 AM – 4:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or after hours.
