Position Summary
As a Paraplanner at McFee Financial Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of Financial Advisors and ensuring the successful delivery of customized financial planning solutions to our clients. This role involves a combination of administrative and analytical tasks, and it is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Client Family meetings 4-8 weeks in advance according to our quarterly schedule of events

Retrieve, document and summarize beneficiary and estate plans on file

Reach out to professional partners relating to tax and legal coordination of client family goals and objectives

Research, report, and expand life insurance planning, long-term care options, and other insurance held in-house or outside our company

Strategize tax efficient distributions and trading

Research Investment Strategies

Generating Family Wealth Plans using MoneyGuidePro

Consider Charitable & Family gifting strategies

Provide Generational and Legacy planning in life and postmortem

Assist with McFee proprietary investment strategies in equities and fixed income

Use Morningstar analytics to optimize portfolio management and reporting

Strategize Employer Benefits, Stock Options, RSU and ESPP grants, exercise and sales

Report communications and service/processing progress via ACT! (our CRM)

Produce account paperwork, initiate transfers, and other administrative tasks

Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards.

Provide exceptional client service and build strong relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.

Knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment products, and industry regulations.

Strong communication and written skills.

Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Previous experience in a similar role or in the financial services industry is a plus.

Industry certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are a plus.
