$35.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and breathing treatments as ordered
Monitor ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and other respiratory equipment as applicable
Evaluate resident responses to treatment and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Educate residents and families on respiratory care, equipment use, and treatment plans
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident progress in the medical record
Maintain and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment and supplies
Follow infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines at all times
Collaborate closely with nursing, physicians, and rehabilitation staff to support resident care goals

Our facility offers a full range of services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and is home to the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. With 215 beds across five nursing units — and plans to expand with a new unit — Lorien Columbia continues to grow while staying true to its mission of providing exceptional care.
