American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring 3 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
Short-term acute care hospital, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required; only one holiday off can be approved per contract
Floating required between both campuses as needed to meet facility needs
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR experience required
13-week contract
Requirements
Active NC or compact RN license currently in hand; pending licenses not accepted
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ER) nursing experience
Epic EMR experience required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
Royal blue and white scrubs required
Pre-start orientation modules required (approximately 4–10 hours)
RTO is at the manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per contract
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Travelers on night shift may extend up to twice before being required to leave for at least 6 months prior to returning
All callouts for scheduled shifts may require makeup shifts as determined by the department
