The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - General is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgeons during operations.
This role requires strong knowledge of surgical procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
Minimum 1-2+ years of CST experience in surgical settings
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (AHA - Required)
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in general surgery cases
Experience in hospital operating room environments
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment
Operating Room (OR)
Onsite role in Marshalltown, IA
Fast-paced surgical environment
Additional Requirements
Must be flexible with day shifts and scheduling needs
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle surgical equipment
Must comply with all surgical and regulatory standards
