Internship Description
SEIA is looking for a state and regulatory affairs intern to support the regulatory and state affairs departments. The role requires 20–25 hours per week, strong writing skills, an interest in energy and environmental policy, knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Computer literacy in online research and proficiency in Word and Excel is expected.
Interns will gain experience in state and regional markets, monitor industry trends, track and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, and may assist legal filings and proceedings.

Compensation
This position pays $19 per hour. The internship starts in mid‑June and ends in early August.
Working Conditions

The internship is based in the Washington, DC office
Interns must be on site three days per week, including Wednesdays
