Pride Health is hiring a

Medical Assistant

to support our client’s medical facility in

Palestine, TX 75801.

This is a

3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance).

Specific Duties

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

Provide skilled physical therapy services in patients’ homes

Conduct Start of Care (SOC), Resumption of Care (ROC), recertifications, and discharge visits

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and ongoing care

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulations

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and home health regulations

Qualifications

Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)

Active Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of Texas

Prior home health experience preferred

Strong understanding of patient care, treatment planning, and documentation

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Must have qualifications/experience

Familiarity with home health EMR systems (e.g., HCHB)

Previous travel or contract experience

BLS for healthcare providers

High school graduate or GED equivalent

1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist

Additional Information

Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Shift start & end times: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay Range: $50-57/hrs. on W2 without benefits

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
