Part-Time | LPN Nurse Supervisor
Schedule
Positions available include working every other holiday.

Available Shifts

Part-Time: 6:00am - 2:30pm (48 hours per two week pay period)

On-call Rotation (carrying staffing phone every 4th week)

The Difference You'll Make

Conduct daily rounds with staff, monitor care, and provide support

Assist Med Techs and Nurse Aids with resident care and tasks as needed

Process physician orders and laboratory results accurately and timely

Assist with coordinating and scheduling resident diagnostic testing

Collaborate with the Unit Manager and cross train to provide coverage when needed

Promote teamwork, accountability, and quality care standards

Must be available to be called in as needed when carrying the on-call supervisor phone to cover in Skilled, Assisted, or Memory care during staffing shortages.

Demonstrate reliability and flexibility with scheduling and hours based on facility needs.

Qualifications
Education Required

Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.

Must be in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing and have a current nurse license.

Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse required.

Current CPR certification

Experience Required

Supervisory experience in an Assisted Living or similar healthcare setting

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred

Experience with holistic or integrative care models

Experience with clinical quality metrics and program development

Multitasking and supporting multiple departments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven ability to deliver exceptional, person-centered care

Experience establishing, monitoring, and improving clinical best practices and quality outcomes

Ability to support and integrate holistic and wellness-focused care programs within the community

Demonstrated success leading quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Strong ability to educate, coach, and mentor staff on clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging best practices

Thorough understanding of nursing department operations, including compliance with federal and state regulations

Ability to effectively lead change, communicate expectations clearly, and model professional behaviors

Strong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, residents, and families

High commitment to customer service excellence and resident satisfaction

Demonstrated leadership presence, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making ability

Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Proficiency with electronic health records and standard computer software
