Cardiovascular Radiographer - Per Diem

Major Responsibilities

Prepares procedure rooms.

Inspects cleanliness and equipment functionality.

Stocks supplies and ensures readiness for procedures.

Prepares patients.

Positions and supports patients for angiograms.

Uses sterile technique and provides emotional support.

Performs interventional procedures.

Operates ancillary equipment (e.g., balloon pumps, injectors).

Follows protocols for cardiac catheterizations, vascular, and EP procedures.

Manages imaging systems.

Operates imaging equipment and C‑arm.

Identifies and resolves image quality issues.

Documents procedures.

Records ECG and hemodynamic data.

Maintains radiation badge logs and manages billing/coding in Heartlab/Mac Lab.

Position Qualifications
All responsibilities are essential job functions.

License/Certification/Education
Required:

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technological program

A.R.R.T. registered

Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License

ACLS and current CPR certification

Preferred:

None specified

Experience/Skills
Required:

At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath, EP or IR radiography

High‑level knowledge of interventional radiology

Strong anatomy and physiology understanding

Proficiency in multitasking, organization, and attention to detail

Presentation and mentoring skills

Preferred:
