Float Phlebotomist
– Bloomington, MN (55425 & surrounding areas)
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm, overtime possible.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Keep up with administrative and clerical duties.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
Six months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Additional Job Standards
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if no work experience.
Coverage for Bloomington, Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Edina, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, St. Anthony, North & South Dakota & surrounding areas.
Proof of exceptional customer service record.
Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
Pass standardized color blindness test.
Be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work overtime.
Exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
Ability to work independently or in a team.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Pay Range
$17.75 - $27.69 per hour.
Float Incentive
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all merits except PTO or FTO.
Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, paying a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
