Collaborate with project managers to process monthly draws.
Audit payables, estimate cash flow, maintain receivables.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Owners (AR), Vendors, and Suppliers.
Keep abreast with both the construction and accounting industry including Lien Laws.
Assist in setting up and maintaining construction project accounting files.
Project Management & Technical Skills
Understanding of project accounting principles.
Monitoring project compliance and financial regulations for both Subcontractors & General Contractors.
Understanding of Florida’s Lien Rights & NTO’s.
Attention to Detail, Time Management & Communication
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective teamwork with accounting department.
Collaborating with project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
Knowledge of Contract billing requirements.
High accuracy in recording transactions
AIA Billing for both Subcontractors & General Contractors.
Collections & Lien waivers.
Lien Preparation.
Subcontractor Change orders & Back Charges.
Accounts Payables (Subcontractors and Suppliers).
