Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to help ExxonMobil compete by navigating complex domestic and international tax issues. The role involves providing tax planning advice for major transactions, staying current with tax policy trends, and collaborating with business line and finance managers.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement value‑added tax strategies across the organization.
Provide tax advice on major transactions, including cross‑border deals.
Analyze and interpret tax policy trends to identify savings opportunities.
Lead discussions with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored tax planning solutions.
Project‑manage tax initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and support functions to add value and enrich the team’s capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of tax planning experience.
Master’s degree in Taxation or related field.
Experience with international tax rules and cross‑border transactions.
Strong project management and client‑relationship skills.
Demonstrated ability to share knowledge and develop team capabilities.
