This is a night shift position, requiring 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with 4 weekend shifts per month (either Friday or Saturday night).
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse with strong neuro experience to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing critical neurological procedures. The ideal candidate will manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Management of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.
Provide care for vented patients and perform airway management.
Administer and monitor IV drips, sedation titration, and vasoactive agents.
Perform central line management and monitor patients post-neurosurgery.
Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias accurately.
Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and triage skills.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in Neuro ICU.
Active RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Experience with advanced critical care procedures such as EVDs, lumbar drains, and high acuity protocols.
Previous travel experience as a nurse is required.
Charge nurse experience is preferred.
