We are hiring a dependable

Skidder Operator & Field Mechanic

to become part of our hardworking crew. These are 2 separate positions. We will train the right candidate to operate a skidder provided they demonstrate a solid attitude, a readiness to learn, and a commitment to safety. The Field Mechanic position must come with experience repairing and maintaining heavy logging equipment and be capable of working under varied site conditions. Mechanic must also be willing to operate equipment when needed.
Role overview:
Operate skidder equipment to move logs from harvest areas to landing zones, maintaining control and situational awareness at all times.
Execute pre- and post-shift equipment checks and perform routine servicing to prevent failures.
Field Mechanic duties include diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues, performing emergency repairs, and fabricating or replacing parts when necessary.
Support crew safety by enforcing protocols and assisting with site setup and machine recovery operations.

What we need from you:
A strong work ethic and the physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor labor.
Reliable, honest, and punctual attendance is essential.
Willingness to learn, accept supervision, and apply feedback with a positive mindset.
Field Mechanic applicants must show prior hands-on experience; familiarity with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems preferred.
Must be willing to travel to remote sites and work variable schedules when required.

Pay & Benefits:
Compensation based on experience (DOE).
Overtime pay and production bonuses available for high performers.
