Grant Accounting Manager

The Grant Accounting Manager at CAA plays a crucial role in advancing our mission to expand opportunities and build self-sufficiency for our community members. This position has responsibility for reviewing financial transactions for compliance, analyzing and monitoring fund balances, and providing financial insights to project teams. Additionally, this role reviews financial reports, handles ad-hoc requests. Qualifications and Requirements:
Required Education, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in grant accounting, financial analysis, or a related role. Knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance standards. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as NetSuite, and Microsoft Office tools with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work Location - 1740 Langdon Farm Road, Cincinnati, Ohio Work Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Onsite work is in a typical office environment This position is eligible for remote work up to two days per week, defined by department schedules, assuming all eligibility and performance criteria are met and maintained. Hybrid work is not guaranteed and may be withdrawn or changed at management discretion.
Physical Requirements: Ability to talk, hear and communicate with co-workers, clients, children and/or parents See and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents Use hands to manipulate, handle feel, and control items or equipment Use hands to operate into a laptop computer or tablet Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds
