Stewart's Shops is looking for a motivated Sanitation Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Plant in Saratoga Springs, NY. This key role ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of our food manufacturing equipment and supervises sanitation partners.
Duties:
• Oversee the sanitation of all food manufacturing equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Supervise and guide sanitation partners to ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Provide training and development for sanitation partners on Standard Operating Procedures, safety, and chemical safety.
• Manage talent and performance of sanitation partners by conducting quarterly reviews.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and deep cleaning tasks are complete on time.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Supervisory experience: 1+ years.
• Sanitation experience and general knowledge of manufacturing equipment in the food industry preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to develop and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures.
Schedule & Pay:
• Full time position available.
• 6pm-8pm start time with flexibility.
• 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Starting pay, including differentials, is $25-$30/hour.
