Operations Analyst- Supply Chain

The Operations Analyst- Supply Chain plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day execution within an automotive supply chain environment while also providing analytical and administrative support to senior leadership. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who thrives in structured, detail-intensive work, enjoys improving manual processes, and acts as a bridge between Supply Chain and Finance.
The position combines purchase order execution, reporting and data analysis, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level administrative support. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with complex financial and operational data and motivated to continuously identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Operations Support
Create, manage, and maintain purchase orders in ERP systems ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
Support daily and weekly supply chain execution activities, including order tracking, supplier follow-ups, and issue resolution.
Assist with demand, inventory, and cost-related reporting in support of supply chain planning and decision-making.
Partner with supply chain team members to document and standardize recurring manual processes.
Reporting, Data & Process Improvement
Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and trackers to support supply chain and finance needs.
Leverage advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, queries) to analyze operational and financial data.
Identify manual, repetitive tasks and assist in designing improved or automated solutions in collaboration with IT, Finance, or Analytics teams.
Create and maintain automations to streamline routine tasks, improve accuracy, and reduce manual workload.
Validate data accuracy across systems and reports to support informed business decisions.
Finance Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between Supply Chain and Finance
Assist with highly detailed and complex finance-related processes, learning and executing procedures that require precision and consistency.
Support month-end and quarter-end activities related to supply chain financial data.
Executive Administrative Support
Provide administrative and analytical support to the Vice President and Senior Vice President, including:
Preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials
Managing data requests and follow-ups
Coordinating meetings, agendas, and action items as needed
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Act as a trusted support partner, helping senior leaders stay organized and informed.

Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
24 years of experience in a supply chain, operations, finance support, or analytical role, preferably in an automotive environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, and data manipulation.
Experience working with purchase orders, financial data, or ERP systems.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong analytical thinking skills and process improvement mindset.

Ability to use standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
