POLICE OPEN COMPETITIVE ENTRANCE EXAM- Deadline June 5, 2026 The City of Painesville Civil Service Commission is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Patrolman. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and under 37 years of age at time of original appointment. An Ohio Police Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) Certificate is required at the time of original appointment. Applicants should visit www.painesville.com for the full exam posting under the Jobs tab. All testing and applications are to be completed through the National Testing Network by Wednesday, June 5, 2026. The City of Painesville is a drug & alcohol-free employer.
