Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician

Compensation: $21.00-$26.00/per hour

(Bonus Eligible)

About the Role

The Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) provides direct 1:1 support to clients by implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will support clients across a variety of settings, including homes, schools, preschools, clinics, and community environments.

During training, BTs/RBTs work a dynamic schedule with exposure to multiple clients and settings. After training, permanent client assignments are provided.

Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support in individual and group settings
Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior programs
Collect and submit session data accurately and on time
Support communication, social, and behavioral skill development
Provide therapeutic interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors
Collaborate with the clinical team to promote positive outcomes
Work Setting

Employees may be assigned to various environments based on organizational needs, including homes, schools, preschools, clinics, and community-based settings.

Reports To

NJ State and Regional Directors

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to complete RBT training and certification
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
Comfortable using technology for documentation
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
Ability to accept and implement feedback
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and run during shifts
Preferred Qualifications

1 year of experience in a direct care human services role
