Responsibilities

This is a 12-week hands-on position that involves working primarily in our Maintenance Department in a manufacturing environment. Responsibility 1
Opportunity to learn and develop SOP's document procedures and work on administrative projects.
Exposure to multiple departments within the production environment, including purchasing, environmental, maintenance, continuous improvement, etc.
Become familiar with CMMS (Maximo)
Under general direction of the planner, create new & updating existing PM job plans
Manually gather work orders from previous down day, review, and create backlog notes
Print & prepare work orders for distribution
Post down-Day schedules and distribute work orders to the maintenance team
Assist with documenting SOPs
Assist with preparing presentations for toolbox and safety morning meetings
Review emergency work orders to track downtime and repeat failures
Become familiar with KPIs and post these for plant information

Other duties as directed

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

1-3 years of clerical or administrative experience, ideally in a maintenance or industrial setting. Essential skills include proficiently in Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel and CMMS software, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize tasks. The role may involve physical tasks like sitting or standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds.

Typical Work Environment

This role will typically be based in an office within facilities such as warehouses or manufacturing plants. They will need to visit production areas or outdoor locations to observe machine centers. ****housing not provided***
