Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Information Security Engineer 2 - Contingent to join their team. As a Information Security Engineer 2 - Contingent, you will be part of the Cybersecurity department supporting the Information Security Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives within Information Security Engineering.
Review and analyze tactical assignments, research, evaluate, and recommend solutions for low-to-medium risk deliverables.
Develop and present recommendations for resolving security challenges, exercising independent judgment.
Provide support and information to client personnel regarding security engineering practices.
Collaborate with IT partners to improve processes and ensure compliance with security policies.
What's Needed?
At least 2+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military, or education.
Fundamentals of secure configuration and hardening for Windows/Linux systems and basic networking literacy.
Experience with vulnerability management, validation, prioritization, and remediation coordination.
Knowledge of IAM concepts such as least privilege, MFA, and account lifecycle management.
Understanding of logging, monitoring, SIEM basics, and alert triage support.
