
Document Control Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to support a document digitization initiative in a fully onsite environment. This role is responsible for scanning and archiving microfiche records into a digital format while ensuring accuracy and quality. Candidates must be comfortable working with scanning equipment, following structured processes, and maintaining organized digital records.

Key Responsibilities
Scan microfiche documents using onsite scanning equipment
Capture and organize digital images into designated folders on a PC
Ensure all images are properly scanned, complete, and legible
Adjust scanner settings as needed to maintain quality output (training provided)
Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues using provided guidelines
Create, organize, and manage folders within Windows 10/11 (local and network drives)
Support documentation efforts related to systems, processes, and user instructions
Assist in maintaining accurate records and digital file organization
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of relevant experience in office, document processing, or similar environment
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer proficiency, including file management in Windows
Ability to operate office equipment such as scanners or similar devices
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with document scanning, archiving, or digitization projects
Familiarity with troubleshooting basic equipment issues
Experience working in structured, process-driven environments
