PRC Industrial is seeking a
Conveyor Belt Technician
to join our field service team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, travel-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, splice, and repair conveyor belts (rubber, PVC, urethane, etc.)
Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems and related components
Diagnose and troubleshoot belt tracking, splicing, and system performance issues
Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
Work safely in industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, quarries, and distribution centers
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition
Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time spent
Travel & Schedule Expectations
Frequent local, regional, and overnight travel depending on job location
Overtime and weekend work required as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience with conveyor belt installation or industrial maintenance preferred
Mechanical aptitude required; experience with hand and power tools
Ability to perform heavy physical work (lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling)
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred Experience
Belt splicing (vulcanization or mechanical)
Experience in aggregates, manufacturing, or material handling industries
