The STRIDE (Specialized Therapeutic Residence For Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment) program is a Joint Commission accredited residential program for children who have intensive needs requiring a longer length of stay in treatment. This program is a specialized service for youth with a mental health diagnosis and intellectual/developmental disabilities who require intensive treatment and family-centered services to achieve reintegration back to their family and community.
SUMMARY
Responsible for the general oversight of the individual's admission and discharge and is the primary liaison between the agency and the families, schools, placing agencies, and other involved providers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
Experience in case management skills preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits 25-50% of the time.
