
Build Support Technician

Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
• Experience in lab, manufacturing, build, or R&D environments supporting equipment and components.
• Ability to set up, execute, and document tests, and follow or update test procedures and work instructions.
• Hands on experience building, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting prototype and production equipment.
• Knowledge of installation, startup, debugging, validation, and qualification of equipment and systems.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, metrology tools, measurement instruments, and lab software.
• Strong documentation skills including test reports, SOPs, and equipment records.
• Experience in inventory management, component tracking, and procurement support.
• Understanding of process development and qualification for components and assembly systems.
• Ability to learn and perform technical processes (e.g., welding, coating, calibration).
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, operations, suppliers, and cross functional teams; familiarity with quality, safety, and regulated environments is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Set up, execute, and document test configurations for components and equipments.
• Develop and refine test procedures and protocols to improve testing processes
• Build, maintain, and operate prototype and production equipment
• Support installation, startup, debugging, and validation of new products and equipment
• Collaborate with suppliers and operations to ensure equipment meets specifications and transitions smoothly to production
• Maintain detailed documentation including test results, SOPs, and component specifications
• Provide training and onboarding support for testing and process personnel
• Manage equipment and component inventory and procurement to ensure timely delivery
• Support process development and qualification for components, assembly processes, and software-driven system
Preferred:
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technicianlevel role.
• 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency with testing equipment, measurement tools, and lab software.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
Salary Range $55,000-$70,000Per year
